from @nydenimhangs NY Denim Hangs is a grassroots community organization in New York City that was founded to bring denim lovers together. The purpose of the NY Denim Hangs Podcast is to pull the curtain back on the global denim industry and share the stories of the people that comprise it. We take you beyond the denim to present the mills, makers, manufacturers and marketers in a series of “mini hangs” that we hope will educate, inform and inspire our community.

As many of you know, in addition to running Clockworks Press I am also a full time visual art teacher at an all girls private school in Manhattan. I have been back working at the school since August 24th and with students since August 31st. During these uncertain times, I hope that I am bringing some normalcy back to the lives of these children and myself. It hasn't been easy with all the adjustments in our routines, but I truly believe we will be stronger in the end!
During the end of my summer vacation I had the unique opportunity to be a part of season one of the NY Denim Hangs podcast. I have been a member of this NY based group for a couple years now and it has truly opened many doors for me both personally and professionally. The group is filled with denim experts, enthusiasts, makers and mills. I was honored when they asked me to talk about my journey and printing on denim!
I hope you will take time to listen to all the episodes as they have worked hard to curate a variety for the launch of season one.
