Denim Collection April 11, 2021

What a wonderful event collecting reclaimed denim with NurtureBK Compost. Witnessing the passion and dedication of those wishing to live an eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle was inspiring! Special thanks to Anneliese and Bella for organizing and partnering with us for this important initiative.

High fives to all the amazing volunteers who gave their time to be there on such a rainy morning and to Katie from Kt Selvedge for hauling the largest donation of 3 bins of denim headers and dead stock samples.

24 denim shorts
4 denim shirts
2 denim vests
1 denim jacket
1 denim skirt

Clockworks Press is proud to partner with NurtureBK compost for a Denim collection event on Sunday April 11, 2021 in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. You can bring your gently used denim to donate to artist Holly Brown for upcycling.

Nurture BK supports the local Brooklyn neighborhoods of Prospect Lefferts Garden and Flatbush at no cost by providing a weekly operation to empower its residents through education and community initiatives for reducing waste.
